hey realise i have not been on here in ages.
been either to busy/lazy to do anything.
First and formost thank you to everyone for your support while in hospital.
I am out alive with the same amount of stomache i went in with.
now on a vast amount of pills and will have to keep taking a load for the rest of my life but if that means eating, drinking, farting, fighting as much as i like then i will take that bullet.
Other than that pretty much same old same old.
Lisa has earned huge huge big browny points and I am lucky enough to be very close to 1 year with her and we are still well and truey in the honeymoon period. *bluegh*

I have been playing with games/graphical program development in my spare time.
Made a silly little thing that i quite like to watch thought other might like it.

OOooooooh been accepted onto the new dungeon and dragons online beta.
The basic change is that the game is free to play!!!!!!
The get there money by encouraging people to by things for their char in real money.
Some of the things you can buy are quite obvious like extra char slots, char type are locked before purchase.
Had a quick look this morning and it seems quite good so far.
Will keep those interested updated. |

hmmm not posted in a while.
What have i been up to?
Had an awesome birthday party where me and lisa drank almost a whole 1ltr bottle of jd :s
this sat i went to see dorian grey at the theatre which turned out to be an interprative dance production with absolutly no dialog whats so ever.
We managed to keep up with the plot quite well but it was a little over homoerotic for my tasts.
although i did see the greatest thing ever.....
A HUGE SKULL DISCO BALL!!!!! sunday we did the straw race which was brilliant. drinking 5 pints and running 5k with a bail of straw dressed as zombie pirates.
must get more people along to do that next year. this wednesday i am doing open air laser quest which should be ace. then sunday 12th i am doing pirate cathulu role play of which i am prapared...no really i am. erm ok i am not. Also for anyone interested i am gonna have blizzcon on at my place and have a few people over for beer and crisps on the 22nd.

Well weekend over week before my holiday begins.
Last week at work was ok but week before was hell. This week could go either way but have to struggle through no matter how much i dont like it.
Weekend was good:
Flock = seeing a friend i have not seen in a year, dancing like a fool, drolling over my stunning gf, drinking, doing the devil smile, eating left over naan with cold curry (mmmm)
Sat = could not go to the train thing with lisa so went to bug's house and drank, played rock band and ate a second curry!
sun = was productive day of doom. moved fridge, freezer and chest up into my room. organised new chest of draws and hid new wardrobe in corner of living room.
Tonight = will be all about finihsing the bottom room ready for haffie. Next week is FRANCE!!!! My awesome wonderful girlfriend is driving me out there and we are gonna spend a week drinking coffee eating cresh cousants (sorry for spelling) and relaxing.
However that means i will be documenting all i know at work this so that things dont fall apart (even more than they have already) while i am away. Other than work, potential leak in roof life is good.

Quick update
Weekend = random
went to birmingham with lisa so she could do her "body attack" course. Thinking i could get a lot of work done. Managed to procrastonate and bimble around and get very little done on the first day.
On sunday did a little more work and played wow for 4 hours using the hotels wifi :D
Back to work today. wondering why, as a highly trained and experienced dbd and coder, I have been reduced to data entry again. I did this 10 years ago and swore never again.
Hey ho the quick i work the sonner it is over. only 250 payment captures left.
Other than that everything is good in the land of malcav and moving along at a steady pace.
looking forward to holiday in france with lisa week after next :D |

I nearly made a catastrophic mistake.

I just changed the order status of every order in the database to shipped.
Luckily I had not “commited” it (make it permanent) so I was able to undo it.
As we say in the business “Control z! Control z!”

So this weekend?
Was suprising awesome!!!
Went down to the BMF that is in peterborough and seeing as my parents live 15 mins away stayed with them.
Was slightly nervous about lisa and my parents spending to much time together (you never know what stories might get told (I was not always as cut and innocent as i am now))
They got on great.
Was not certain of what to expect at the BMF seeing as i am not hugly into bikes.
Got the and it was pretty much like other expos. Cheap places selling crap and other places selling stuff worth 1000's with a fiver knocked off. Saw some really nice designs of helmets even *drum roll* a batman one!!!!!!!!
Lisa bought some stuff and i lent all the technical help i could which generally consisted of squeezing the armour and saying "seems a bit weak"
And i bought myself the bestest helmet in the world ever any (see lisas live journal for picture)
Went for a meal with myparents intending to buy it for them as a suprise but when i came to over 100 i let them get it :D
Next day went back and met up with lisa's sister her husband and children. I managed to convince lisa's 4 year old nephew that the hole in the grass where for the tenticles to come out of though he did not seem as scared as i was when i found out. hmmmm maybe he is in league with them.
Back home now + cutlery set + bacon and egg pie - 1/4 which we had for dinner.
All in all awesome!

Here is a mini update of the things i have been doing that would not get me jailed or bore people to tears.
Did a 5K run yesterday and randomly it went past the "woolpack" made famous by emerdale. 25Mins *mumbles* and 12 seconds */mumbles*
Doing another next wednesday and want to do it in 24 mins.
Injections today. When getting injected always look at the nurses hands before. The nurse i got her hands were shaking constantly and when she injected me it was like being tattooed. she must have puntures the skin 4 times before she push the needle in.
Luckily/Unfortunatly the stingy ness of the stuff she injected me with stopped me feeling the pain of the new ventilation shafts she gave me.
It was only after the injection that i watched her hands shaking.
Going for a drink after work today to see the illusive sarah
Other than that looking forward to my new lodger and pootling along :D
p.s. thinking of having something birthday related around the 27th of june let me know if thats a good date. |

Not updated in ages but cant sleep or think of anything better to do.
What have i done?
lots of cool fun things : painting bedrooms, cooking roast, applying for creative writting copetitions (thanks to my wonderful friends), seeing things, eating things, drinking things.
Today I did a 13 hour day at work with lots of stress. Now I am so stressed i can sleep properly never mind.
Not long till i get the perfect sleeping situation : post exercise with nice warm squishy person to hug.
